High impact plastic housing has a battery compartment with easy access/replacement of 3 AA batteries. Overall operational temperature range is 70°C to -20°C for the TBTR-100-3.
Battery life estimates assume use of alkaline AA batteries, but 1.5V lithium AA batteries could alternatively be used and provide longer life.
These transmitters are shipped without batteries; therefore, they do not require special shipping and handling, which is advantageous for international shipments and travel.
Units can be shut down with a magnet for short term storage. Alkaline batteries should be removed when stored for long periods of time (months) to avoid leakage.
